Malaysia
We will be shipping the car to Penang, Malaysia from Medan Indonesia on the 19th of January. We then plan to spend a couple of months driving around Malaysia before crossing the border into Thailand.
We had a "sneak preview" trip to Malaysia for 4 days in December 2007 to get a new Indonesian visa, as detailed in the Kuala Lumpur page.
We really liked Malaysia from our brief visit and look forward to exploring further next month.
